Company Overview:Simply Accounting, HR, and Taxes is a locally owned and operated Company devoted to providing a variety of Bookkeeping, Accounting, and HR services to businesses of all industries.Job Summary:We have an immediate need for a In-Person -Full-Time Accounting Assistant who is extremely organized, self-motivated, eager to learn, focused on accuracy, punctual, and able to hold self-accountable to complete tasks. This individual must handle the workload quickly, efficiently, and be willing to perform additional duties upon request. A working knowledge of bookkeeping is very helpful but can be trained. The position also includes dealing with the public, both on the phone and in-person, so courtesy and helpfulness are essential skills.Work schedule:
  • Monday – Friday, 8:30AM – 5PM
  • 38-40 Hours
Responsibilities & Duties:
  • Answering phones- as back up.
  • Data entry
  • Greet and welcome guests
  • Filing (including organizing, sorting, and maintaining files)
  • Copy, fax, scan, email and use search engine
  • Assist in quarterly and annual audits
  • Researching and conducting data to prepare documents for review and presentation by management
  • Assist in preparing tax documents for the accounting team.
  • Other Admin duties as assigned.

Educational Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or the equivalent.
  • One year administrative/clerical experience.
