Our client is an international company recognised as a specialist supplier of quality air compressors for industrial requirements or custom engineered solutions. With branches across Australia, it has built an industrial sales/distribution aftermarket business and also supplies the OEM and mining sectors.About the roleThis is an outstanding career opportunity for an experienced Industrial Sales professional to join their sales team servicing the metropolitan and country areas.
Reporting to the Sales Director, in this pivotal role you will be responsible for managing an existing profitable and vibrant client base whilst identifying and developing new business opportunities.Skills & experienceSo that you yourself are able to make the transition smoothly, you will possess the following key attributes:
  • A demonstrated industrial/mechanical sales history ideally within the compressed air industry
  • An appreciation or basic understanding of compressed air products
  • An ability to build rapport across all levels
  • A thorough understanding of the industrial market in NSW
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and time management skills
  • Be a team player who is willing to go the extra mile
  • A willingness and desire to continue learning.
