This role will report to a Vice President, Product Management at PGIM Investments.What you will bring
  • Provide strategic direction for PGIM Investments products sub-advised by Jennison Associates.
  • Accurately and effectively position our Jennison sub-advised products based on information from Asset Management, external news sources, internally run data, feedback from sales, and other sources.
  • Take a leadership role as an advocate for the Jennison equity product line. Implement Jennison’s strategies, how to navigate the firm, how to attain information, and develop processes for effective communication.
  • Responsible for reviewing others work to ensure accuracy and message consistency.
  • Monitor capital markets, trade publications, flows, performance, portfolio characteristics and competitive landscape.
  • Review existing product line and recommend changes/enhancements where applicable. e.g., Pricing, benchmark, PMs, strategy, and investment limits.
  • Proactively identify issues impacting the product line and recommend next steps/solutions.
  • Train staff on new products and product changes.
  • Drive relationships with Distribution (Sales, National Accounts, DCIO, etc.) along with internal partners (Product Development, Marketing, Legal, MRU, Fund Admin, etc.)
  • Respond to sales inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Limited travel to present with sales coordinators and participate in industry conferences.
  • Review Shareholder reports and prospectuses, 15(c) peer review, cap gains, etc.
  • Generate reporting analytics to support product positioning
  • Develop and update Fund Presentations and Fund positioning documents.
What will set you apart
  • Experience in Equity markets with ability to articulate complex concepts to audiences with varying degrees of investment acumen.
  • Previous Product Management experience
  • Solid understanding of financial markets, investment products, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Series 7 license or ability to acquire licensing within 120 days if not currently held.
  • Bachelor’s degree required. CFA or CIMA designation preferred.
  • 7+ years of mutual fund and/or ETF industry experience
  • Ability to develop efficient processes
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet project deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment and manage internal and external relationships.
  • Proficient with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
  • Lipper, FactSet, Barclays Live, Morningstar Direct, LANA, Bloomberg preferred.

The salary range for this role is from $150,000 to $175,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
