Duties include general clerical and project-based work. Project a professional company image through in-person and phone interaction with Customers, Consolidators, and Government Regulatory Agents from USDA, USDC & FDA.What does your day look like? Some of your duties may include:
  • Collect and process GFI pick-tickets / orders for export inspection processing.
  • Supervise and Coordinate the scheduling and processing of export documentation [i.e. 9050-5] and, research when necessary.
  • Setup and coordinate inspection appointments and conferences.
  • Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to: photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing
  • Create and modify documents using Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel.
  • Maintain a hard copy and electronic filing system.
  • Verify accuracy and enter data into operations control system.
  • Maintain business relations with customers, consolidators and government agencies USDC, USDA, FDA.
  • Assure proper follow-up and timely distribution of all documents to customers and consolidators and government agencies.
  • Obtain and report logistics information for documentation processing.
  • Understand and obey general export rules governing, US and International law.
  • Understand product types and species as required.
Things you need to be able to do:
  • Strong interpersonal/communication skills with the ability to multi-task. Strong computer skills are required.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Microsoft Office

  • 2+ years
  • College degree preferred
