- Perform Daily Housekeeping tasks to support the housekeeping team
- Assists with the completion of interviews, evaluations and hiring of EVS staff.
- Conducts new EVS staff orientation.
- Conducts EVS staff scheduling.
- Conducts inventory control and supply ordering to ensure that the EVS team has the necessary tools and supplies to perform their daily tasks.
- Provides oversight to help schedule and coordinate the third-party cleaning for urgent requests from ancillary departments.
- Manages the chemical inventory list for the EVS department and ensures all SDS sheets are up to date.
- Performs routine checks/inspections of buildings and grounds to ensure that the building is safe, clean and well maintained.

QualificationsRequirementsEducation: High School Diploma plus two years of college preferred. Extension experience or apprenticeship in a trade or prior experience acceptable.Experience: Minimum of five years as a tradesman in environmental services or maintenance. Must demonstrate familiarity with current Joint Commission and state licensing issues and focuses.Physical: Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp and be able to perceive the attributes of objects such as size, shape, temperature, and/or texture by touching with skin, particularly that of the fingertips. May be required to work alternate shifts, weekends, and/or float as needed. Must be able to exert up to 75 pounds of force occasionally and to be able to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
