As a member of this team you will have the opportunity to grow with the company.The primary responsibilities of this role will include:
Treasury - Oversee all treasury activities including but not limited to ensuring cash funding requirements are met, and provide insight and analysis on daily cash/banking activities. Review and implement internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies. Maintain strong relationships with our banking partners.
Tax - Assist in the effective and efficient administration of the Corporation's income tax obligations, including Federal and Provincial income tax returns, commodity tax filings and audits. A focus on tax accounting would include reporting, compliance, planning, analysis, and research.
Preparation and review of year end working paper files and financial statements for various companies within the group.
QualificationsA successful candidate will have:
CPA designation
Two or more years of progressive public accounting experience
Strong technical accounting and tax knowledge.
Bilingualism in French/English is an asset
Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
