- Own the Vonage regulation, compliance & privacy roadmap by working with Carrier, Security, Legal, and individual Product Managers to provide technical solutions and manage delivery
- Own and deliver the roadmap, with individual Product Managers, including key regulatory changes such as Stir/Shaken, 10DLC (over channels such as voice or SMS) and improving backend systems such as KYC, or GDPR compliance.
- Lead and develop a team of experienced Product Managers creating regulatory, compliance or privacy products.
- Lead Product Managers through the product development process of identifying technical solutions to address business requirements
- Own monitoring and business reporting of regulatory, compliance and privacy business performance
- Manage escalations concerning violations of legal rules and internal policies, and manage team priorities
- Work with the Head of Fraud & Regulatory Product on portfolio strategy, quarterly business reporting & planning cycles.
- Experience working on-the-ground delivering regulatory or compliance solutions for SaaS providers or similar services
- Subject matter expertise on regulatory compliance requirements
- Understanding of software development and processes within security and compliance realm
- Ability to work with different stakeholders across the business from software Engineers through to Finance, Security, Legal and Operations teams
- Strong knowledge and experience in areas including regulations, KYC, and Data Sovereignty, Cloud Security
- Previous experience of working with engineers to identify and implement regulatory and compliance fixes and solutions
- Strong knowledge in data protection and compliance, security-oriented cloud services, and threat detection and prevention
- Proven experience working as a business subject matter expert or in a leadership capacity within regulatory, compliance and privacy teams
- Product or Operational Management experience
- In-depth knowledge of telecom industry's compliance and regulations
- Experience in telco, cloud or finance industries preferred
- Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping
- Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities
- An analytical mind able to “see” the complexities of procedures and regulations
- Certified compliance professional is a plus
- Experience with Agile methodologies & tools (e.g. Scrum, Kanban)
- Experience using Jira, Confluence and project management tools
- Able to work with data in formats such as CSV, XML, JSON, etc.
