With a focus on innovation, sustainability, and customer satisfaction, they strive to exceed expectations in every project thy undertake.Position Overview: Currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Residential Construction Purchasing Agent to join the team. The Purchasing Agent will play a crucial role in the construction process by sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of goods to our construction sites.Responsibilities:
  • Source and procure materials, equipment, and services required for residential construction projects.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors and suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement.
  • Coordinate with project managers and site supervisors to determine project-specific material requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and delivery schedules.
  • Monitor inventory levels and track usage to prevent shortages and minimize waste.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and maintain relationships to ensure reliability and quality of materials.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, product developments, and pricing fluctuations.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in purchasing or procurement within the residential construction industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain vendor relationships.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with purchasing software or ERP systems is preferred.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred but not required.
