Adecco is currently assisting a local client, recruiting for 2nd and 3rd Shift Forklift Operators in Wayne County, NY. These are temp to hire opportunities, with starting pay of $18.75 per hour!?A qualified candidate will have a current Forklift certification and valid NY State driver's license.RESPONSIBILITIES:Assemble, load, and/or unload materials to designated area using appropriate equipment including forklift, clamp lift, barcode readers and safety equipment.Receive and understand material movement orders.Cycle counting supportPhysical inventory supportRepack boxes, stencil/re-label boxes, stretch wrap product, hand stack productHousekeeping Duties; inventory consolidation; material reclaim and scrap.REQUIREMENTS:Must have proven experience working in a fast-paced Warehouse/Logistics environment.Must have a High School Diploma or GEDUnderstands of the DPM processPrior use of RF barcode reader and vehicle mounted (VMU) computer systems preferredPush-pull attachment operation a plusMinimum of 1-year recent forklift experience preferredForklift Certification preferredMust successfully complete forklift certification program; complete certification manual within 90 days of placementBasic knowledge of mathematicsMust have the basic ability to communicate, orally and written, in the English languageMust be self-directed and have the ability to work with little supervisionWill be required to be certified in Lockout/Tag Out and Forklift Operation upon assignmentWHAT'S IN THIS FOR YOU?Weekly pay starting at $19.50+ Shift Diff.Click APPLY NOW for instant consideration!Pay Details: $19.50 to $23.00 per hourBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
