Our client is currently seeking a dedicated individual to join their team as an Optician and Manager for this exciting Direct Hire opportunity.As an Optician, you will play a crucial role in assisting customers with their eyewear needs, ensuring they receive optimal vision correction and stylish frames that suit their preferences. This position involves a variety of tasks, including processing prescriptions, measuring customers' eyes and faces, assisting in frame selection, creating work orders for ophthalmic lab technicians, adjusting eyewear for proper fit, and providing education on eyewear care.As a manager, you will lead the practice team towards achieving financial goals by delivering exceptional patient service, master and perform various positions within the practice to coach team members and train new hires, schedule and manage team to meet practice and patient needs, approving time sheets to adhere to labor budget, ensure compliance with HIPAA privacy practices and conduct daily team meetings to coordinate outstanding patient care, and oversee various aspects, including auditing patient orders, managing frame inventory, meeting revenue goals, and problem-solving to exceed patient expectations.Salary: $30-32/hour plus bonus potentialSchedule: Monday through Friday between 8AM and 5PM, with occasional evenings until 6PM on Tuesdays and 8:30AM-1:30PM on Saturdays 1-2 times per month.Location: Flexibility to float between Greece, Webster, Brighton, Fairport areas of RochesterValid NYS Ophthalmic Dispensing License
