Job Summary:As a Revenue Cycle Specialist, you'll take charge of multiple facets of the pharmacy/infusion reimbursement process as you interact with insurance companies and patients to ensure accurate payment. You will have the experience of investigating irregularities and resolving problems when unforeseen roadblocks arise. This is a great opportunity for an experienced professional with a track record of filing claims, billing, appeals, reviews, customer service, problem resolution and overall revenue cycle management.Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Research of claim denials and payment discrepancies.
  • Follow-up on claims greater than 45 days old.
  • Claim re-submissions, re-considerations, and appeals
  • Other duties as assigned
Required Education, Experience and Skill Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of collection/billing experience.
  • The candidate must have excellent problem-solving and communication skills, be organized, dependable, and detail oriented.
  • Must also be flexible and have the willingness to learn and adapt to the changes and needs of the department.
  • Knowledge of CPR+ Infusion pharmacy preferred.
  • Knowledge of infusion billing/collections guidelines for commercial and government payers.
