This brand-new, full-time opportunity is strategically involved in one of our latest innovative projects of implementing and rolling out an entirely new HR system.The successful incumbent will get first-hand experience of what it takes to assist with the day-to-day tasks that ensure our HR technology ecosystem runs efficiently throughout the Park District for all employees. They'll be hands on with various ADP software, not limited to the self-service portal, Recruiting Management, and Onboarding.This position is on-site with limited opportunity to work-from-home.
  • Participates in HR software implementation, maintenance, enhancement, and related processes.
  • Under the guidance of the HRMS Manager, collects, inputs, audits, corrects, and reports employee-related information. Audits may include, but are not limited to, digital and hardcopy job applicant data, personnel data and files, I-9 forms, and employee onboarding.
  • Provides customer support to troubleshoot and resolve internal and external user-reported technical difficulties.
  • Proactively suggests system improvements to optimize the software-in-use, streamline system workflow, and elevate the user experience.
  • Learns all aspects of the HRMS and documents its processes, workflows, and resolved cases.
  • Assists the development and deployment of user training and web-based guides.
  • Performs related duties as assigned or apparent.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of HR technology experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
  • Knowledge of HR business practices, advanced excel report-writing skills, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills preferred.
  • Ability to perform work with a high degree of accuracy and organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple programs and meet deadlines, collaborate with stakeholders, and analyze diverse facts to develop clear and concise reports and recommendations.
  • Mature professional attitude with considerable discretion, including ability to manage confidential information.
  • Ability to perform with considerable independence and initiative.
