- Coordinates marketing activities across the company to meet deadlines and optimize customer experiences.
- Facilitates the content process from multiple contributors to ensure timely collection.
- Collaborates with interactive designers to effectively produce marketing collateral.
- Utilizes entry-level HTML understanding to proficiently manage technical responsibilities associated with marketing campaigns.
- Creates and manages an email marketing calendar.
- Prepares files through the email service provider for timely and effective delivery.
- Conducts tests to ensure successful rendering of mailers in all browsers and email clients.
- Remains current with landscapes, market trends, industry innovations, and best practices to obtain a competitive edge.
- Conducts market research and competitive analysis and helps create mockups for various ecommerce projects.
- Assists in creating taglines and call-to-action copy for marketing assets.
- Prepares reports for marketing campaigns by analyzing sales and click stream data to better drive brand awareness and lead generation through digital channels.
- Assists the Director and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) as needed.
- Maintains awareness of integration opportunities through web, mobile, Short Message Service (SMS), Push Notifications, and social media sites and assists in vendor communication and research.
- Complies with company policies and procedures.

- Associate's Degree in Business, E-Commerce, Marketing, English or related field. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in email marketing disciplines and processes, email campaigns with major brands, email content and filtering, and/or project management.
- Demonstrated creative, organizational and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated experience in sales, customer service, social media or related industry experience.
- Experience with MS Office products, Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Express) and the Mac OSX platform.
- Basic understanding of HTML.
- Ability to get along and work with diverse personalities; tactful, mature and flexible.
- Prioritizes and models good communication skills through follow-up, timely responses, and utilization of a proactive and positive approach.
- Above moderate to high levels in reading comprehension, writing and speaking in English, active listening, attention to detail, critical thinking, creative problem solving, complex problem solving and judgment.
- Normal office environment with little exposure to dust and weather conditions prevalent at the time (i.e., cold hot/humid).
- Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, cameras, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
- Regularly required to talk, walk, stand, bend, twist, reach with hands and arms, stoop kneel and crouch.
- Raise and lower an object from one level to another, less than twenty (20) pounds.
- Visual acuity must be a minimum or 20/40 (corrected) and normal hand/eye coordination.
- Normal or corrected hearing.
- Must be able to perform in an office environment where ninety (90) percent of work is performed sitting.
- Occasional long or irregular hours of work.
