Work in the day-to-day operations of soybean seed production, including but not limited to: conditioning, warehousing, shipping, and seed box wash. This position will help to develop understanding of the seed production business.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Assist with daily production operations including conditioning/bagging, shipping/receiving, and seed box wash/repair
Work in plant & warehouse
Warehousing and load building as necessary, including load checking for accuracy
Assist in maintenance of field and plant equipment
Assist in seed conditioning and treating operations
Follow all safety & housekeeping procedures
Operate forklift in warehouse.
Accurately complete all required paperwork and documentation in a timely manner
Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
No previous experience required.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work as part of a team
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
Ability to work outdoors 60% of the time
Ability to work in all conditions, wet, dry, cold, hot
Ability to stand and walk on concrete for entire shift
Must have valid driver’s license and meet MVR Requirements
