This individual will handle, mobilize, and return our in-house equipment, including furniture and larger BOH equipment, as well as work in collaboration with the Venue Management Team to receive and disperse custom items that are unique to each event.This role will pay an hourly wage of $24 to $25.For FT roles: Benefits: Health, Dental and Vision insurance, 401(k) savings plan, 401(k) matching, and paid time off (vacation days, sick days, and 12 holidays).job expires 8/31/2024About the VenuePeak is a premium restaurant located on the 101st floor of 30 Hudson Yards, in a State-of-the-Art building with panoramic views and situated above Edge, the highest outdoor observation deck in the city. A luxurious destination with breath-taking views of lower New York City.Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the collection, movement, distribution, and requisition of events inventory and equipment for each event
  • Mobilize large furniture and equipment throughout the Venue
  • Perform equipment pulls and returns independently based on the specific needs of the event as outlined by the Venue Managers
  • Maintain accurate inventory count both pre and post event
  • Maintain communication with management throughout events to ensure all equipment is present
  • Access storage needs and communicate with team accordingly
  • Report/document any missing/broken items to management
  • Maintain storage organization and cleanliness to ensure smooth event service
  • Upkeep of our shared storage spaces
  • Receiving and returning of packages
Qualifications
  • 1+ year experience with receiving and handling inventory
  • Ability to collect and move all our event equipment, up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting
  • Push and pull carts, weighing up to 100 pounds, unassisted
  • Highly organized and able to adapt to the changing needs per event
  • Maintain a positive attitude and take constructive feedback from Management
