- Providing practical legal advice and risk-based solutions to clients on a range of matters relating to .
- Managing general litigation and dispute resolution matters.
- Substantive knowledge of federal and state employment laws;
- Familiarity with all facets of employment litigation, including responding to pleadings, drafting and responding to discovery, drafting and arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, and trial preparation;
- Strong research and analytical skills;
- Excellent writing skills are a must. Writing samples are required;
- Experience providing advice and counsel to employers on employment-related issues including wage and hour, performance management, workplace accommodations, leave laws and reductions-in-force;
- Experience drafting employment agreements, confidentiality agreements, separation agreements, employee handbooks and employment policies;
- New Jersey bar admission is required. New York bar admission is preferred, and application to the New York bar will be required of the successful candidate after joining CSG Law, if not already so admitted.
