Summary:Chicago Tribune, a subsidiary of Tribune publishing, is seeking a Driver to join our team for distribution!What you will do:Responsible for efficient and accurate delivery of the newspaper and supplements in the marketDrive a tractor trailer truck (Requiring a class "A" CDL)Makes delivery of freight and magazines when neededBreak down and sort freight, film and magazines for shipping to customer distribution centersResponsible for efficient and accurate delivery of the newspaper and supplements in the marketBreak down and sort magazines, film and supplies as needed to ship to various statewide customer distribution centersCheck newspaper, supplements and magazine bundles for accurate count on truck loadsRespond to customer inquiriesPractices defensive driving skills and maintains a safe-driving recordWhat you will bring:Ability to work with a variety of peopleA valid commercial class "A" drivers license to drive a tractor trailerDemonstrated sensitivity to customer satisfactionPossess basic math aptitude, communication and organization skillsAbility to operate a pallet jackHigh school diploma or equivalentWho we are:Founded in 1847, the Chicago Tribune, is the top source of news and information in the Chicago area and the largest news organization in the Midwest.
