Job Title: PeopleSoft Functional SME
Duration: 7 Months (contract)
Location: Hartford, CT (Remote)Key Skills: PeopleSoft HCM 9.2, Testing and validation, Knowledge of Secure 2.0 Act, PeopleSoft HCM modules: Core HR, Workforce Administration, North American Payroll, Time & Labor, Cloud experience (preferred), Project management, Documentation.Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Project System Matter Expert with a focus on PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 Benefits Administration. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in implementing Qualified Savings Plans, converting general payroll deductions to benefits administration plan types, and managing third-party integrations and interface processes. Additionally, familiarity with Secure 2.0 Act and its implications on retirement savings plans setup is desired.Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess, research, analyse, and document their needs, utilizing appropriate information gathering and modelling techniques.
  • Recommend business solutions that align with stakeholder needs, continually exploring and assessing options for value-add for clients.
  • Ensure successful completion of project objectives within defined timelines and according to project methodology.
  • Work directly with PeopleSoft developers to achieve functional design objectives.
  • Assist in testing and validation of plan data conversion.
  • Develop appropriate documentation and contribute to end-user training for assigned projects.
  • Provide knowledge transfer and create training documentation for end-users.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and written skills to effectively convey project requirements and updates.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 Benefits Administration, including implementing Qualified Savings Plans and supporting processes.
  • Proficiency in converting general payroll deductions to benefits administration plan types.
  • Experience with third-party integrations and interface processes.
  • Working knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM modules, including Core HR, Workforce Administration, North American Payroll, and Time & Labor.
  • Cloud experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Secure 2.0 Act and its impacts on retirement savings plans setup.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when necessary.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and written skills.
