- Define the Future: Architect and implement an enterprise architecture methodology tailored to our organization's unique goals and industry.
- Lead with Vision: Provide strategic direction and thought leadership to senior management on enterprise architecture best practices.
- Bridge the Gap: Collaborate with business units like operations and engineering to understand their technology needs and challenges.
- Drive Integration: Champion strategic systems integration to facilitate seamless data exchange and improve decision-making.
- Champion Standards: Define and implement corporate technology standards to ensure consistency and efficiency across the organization.
- Foster Adoption: Work closely with the Change Enablement Director to drive the adoption of standardized architecture principles and methodologies.
- Cultivate Innovation: Foster a culture of continuous improvement and embrace innovative technologies to propel us forward.
- Foster a secure and compliant environment by establishing enterprise architecture governance processes aligned with industry standards and regulations.
- Develop and enforce internal IT policies, ensuring employee privacy and responsible technology use.
- Partner with the engineering team to prepare for FedRAMP compliance, ensuring we meet stringent security requirements.
- Implement robust information security plans that utilize best practices for assessment, evaluation, and enforcement.
- Lead with a focus on diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility, fostering a vibrant and inclusive team environment.
- Oversee an Applications Analyst, providing coaching and development opportunities.
- Empower your team to create solutions and foster an atmosphere where ownership and accountability flourish.
- Track progress, analyze data, and showcase the value of enterprise architecture investments to executive management.
- Define key metrics to measure the success of architecture initiatives.
- Manage an efficient and secure IT asset management program, optimizing costs throughout the lifecycle.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years of experience in IT with 3+ years leading enterprise architecture
- Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills, adept at engaging across all levels
- Solid financial acumen and experience with budget management and contract negotiation
- Proven track record of developing and motivating IT teams
- Strong business acumen and ability to bridge the gap between IT and business functions
- Experience building strong partnerships with stakeholders and vendors
- Familiarity with IT frameworks (ITIL, PRINCE2, etc.) and enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman)
- A plus: Enterprise architecture certification (TOGAF) and/or security certification (CISSP)
