The company maintains offices in London, Los Angeles, New York, Berlin, Paris, Tokyo and Sydney.How we LEAD:We are seeking a Director, US Retail Sales to enhance Bravado’s presence and revenue stream across all tiers of retail. In close collaboration with Brand Management, Creative, Supply Chain, and Finance, we develop apparel ranging from high quality cut and sew products to traditional t-shirts. Products are sold to all tiers of retail, from High-end (e.g. Barney’s, Bloomingdales), to Specialty (Urban Outfitters, GAP, American Eagle), to Mass (Target, Walmart, Kohls).The Retail team is responsible for managing Bravado’s retail wholesale relationships with a primary focus on growing revenue. The candidate must be able to sell strategically to each retail partner by appropriately positioning Bravado’s products to align with each retailer’s consumer segments. The Director, US Retail Sales should have a deep understanding of Bravado’s retail landscape across tiers ranging from high-end department stores to mass retail and have established relationships with Bravado’s key retailers.How you’ll CREATE:
In a fast-paced and growing environment like ours, priorities and projects often change so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
  • Partner with major retail chains across all tiers to sustain and enhance our roster’s footprint in the market.
  • Work strategically with these retail partners to maintain evergreen volume driving business as well as dynamic merch + marketing campaigns that amplify our artists’ brands
  • Collaborate with Creative and Supply Chain to ensure product development aligns with retailer objectives
  • Develop retailer specific programs that are coordinated with artist and label activity and initiatives
  • Drive innovative ideas to continue revenue growth within designated retail lanes
  • Travel for in-person meetings with retailers and partners to develop/maintain key relationships
Bring your VIBE:
  • 7+ years retail sales experience in apparel
  • Fan of and strong knowledge of music to drive multigenerational fan connection through unique products
  • Well versed in pop culture to identify with ongoing trends
  • Ability to collaborate with key internal team members, such as Brand Management, Creative and Production.
  • Ability to run multiple complex projects simultaneously and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Exceptional written, listening, and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
