- Strengthen and implement AERDF’s comprehensive digital roadmap strategy, aligning with AERDF’s mission and goals.
- Oversee and maintain an active digital communications calendar across all digital channels (email, social, and websites).
- Collaborate with partners in AERDF’s Communications Hub to create artful, high-quality material
- Manage and oversee AERDF's website and social media accounts, including content scheduling, monitoring, and engagement with followers. Support our ambitious goals of driving significant growth in our social and email communities while maintaining high engagement.
- Create compelling and engaging content for our website, social media platforms, email newsletters, and other digital channels.
- Partner with our development team to manage an active, personalized emai communications program.
- Design and execute effective email marketing campaigns to engage stakeholders and promote events, publications, and research findings.
- Maintain and update the organization's website, ensuring it remains current and user-friendly
- Manage analysis of campaign performance to ensure continuous improvement execution of AERDF’s digital strategy
- Monitor and analyze the performance of digital efforts using analytic tools and partner with the Communications Director to adjust strategies accordingly.
- Report out on performance indicators, lessons learned to internal and external audiences including AERDF Board of Directors and donors
- Experience crafting and executing holistic digital campaigns with global audiences and goals
- Experience developing and managing cross-channel calendars
- Ability to compile and analyze digital engagement metrics
- A eye for creating and writing engaging copy+content across all digital channels
- Experience with web content management, project management, and CRM platforms (especially WordPress, Asana, and Hubspot)
- Real-time social media monitoring and engagement
- Ability to compile and analyze digital engagement metrics
- Demonstrated ability to create and lead the execution of an organization-wide campaign that met or beat its objectives
- Proven track record working with a diverse range of social and traditional media, including Black and Latino media members; ability to determine the best media type to achieve goals
- Personal demonstrated to commitment to racial equity and deep experience in organizations and/or client relationships with commitments to racial equity
- Partnering with colleagues to deliver on compelling stories from the sector
- Ability to understand programmatic work and create and implement communication plans that will promote organizational priorities
- Excellent vendor/partner management skills
- Proven communicator; excellent writing/editing and verbal communication skills, including experience in translating scientific research into language accessible for all audiences
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work on time
- Strong analytical skills; able to conduct independent analysis, draw conclusions, and make concrete, actionable recommendations
