- Pastoral oversight of existing ministry leaders (and their teams) who are engaged in local mission and ministry (Mobile Community Pantry, English Classes).
- Working with our Kids, Youth and Families Minister to build community connections with families and children alongside our existing ministries to this demographic.
- Developing and delivering training to equip our church community to grow in awareness, desire, and ability to have Jesus-shaped conversations in the broader community.
- Leading our church to be increasingly accessible to the diversity of people within our city, for the sake of the gospel (including our communication, ministry programs, property).
- Developing new pathways for connecting with the city of Blacktown and its people.
- Being open and honest about your own weakness and mistakes, and seeking help when needed.
- Being willing to engage in healthy conflict over ideas as a team member.
- Committing to implement and support the decisions of the ministry team.
- Being a part of holding the ministry team to account for staying focussed on our priorities.
- Pursuing the collective goals and priorities of the ministry team.
- Developing an annual ministry development plan for your personal growth and your areas of ministry responsibility.
- Monthly meeting with the Senior Minister for support and mentoring, and to report on progress and assess priorities for the coming month according to your ministry development plan.
- Weekly sharing with the staff team an update on how you are going with your monthly priorities.
