Position Summary:This is a skilled position involving the safe and efficient operation of an end-dump truck with a tarping-system. Drivers will haul waste from transfer stations to company-owned landfills. All job offers are contingent on pre employment drug screen and background check results.Duties and Responsibilities:
Thorough operational knowledge and skills of operating a commercial motor vehicle and related equipment to be operated.
Performs pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned equipment.
Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently.
Must keep time and material records.
Must follow verbal and written instruction.
Knowledge of different types and sizes of aggregates, asphalt, or other material.
Must have maneuvering and backing skills.
Follows route assignments as directed and completes end of day documentation and check out process.
Must be able to communicate effectively on the radio system.
Must maintain driver’s daily logs.
Connect and disconnect trailers.

Must possess a valid state commercial driver's license (CDL), Class A with appropriate endorsements.
