Serving as a valuable product resource to sales and other stakeholders, they leverage their working knowledge of product, administrative systems, and business processes to advise project teams. This position collaborates across various organizational levels to ensure timely implementation of new products and enhancements, while also providing comprehensive reporting on project progress and addressing administrative issues to meet the Product Management team objectives.In this role, you will…
  • Product solutions competitive benchmarking and positioning to support sales and provide reviews needed to ensure product competitiveness.
  • Responsible for reviewing product information and messaging (sales and marketing materials, product manuals). Validate accuracy of product marketing materials.
  • Answer product questions and educate internal and external parties on product features and administrative requirements, changes to business rules and product enhancements.
  • Develop product training curriculum and materials for new product launches including study guides, job aids, etc.
  • Provide on-going support as SME for issues that arise and responds to requests for information on products.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation including product catalogues.
  • Ensure that product documentation is updated as necessary and that changes are communicated to all interested parties.
  • Act as liaison with sales and other external or internal areas on issues or problems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
We are looking for candidates with…
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field or 6+ years of equivalent experience in the field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in insurance product development or related positions, preferably in the accident and health sector is required.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data.
  • Proficient in using business appropriate software and tools including the Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of market trends and customer insights.
