- Provide clinical learning needs assessments, functional assessments, and generate appropriate goals and objectives.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including progress notes and individualized treatment plans, in accordance with Friends of Firefighters policies and procedures.
- Follow all applicable laws and regulations set forth by the State of New York, and all other applicable regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate with other mental health professionals, medical professionals, and social service providers to ensure that clients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and Friends of Firefighters to provide education, support, and advocacy.
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards of practice.
- Assist with the expansion of child-focused programmatic activities.
- May include other duties as requested by Friends of Firefighters.
- Master’s degree in behavioral analysis, education, psychology, or a related field
- Certification of BCBA and License of NYS LBA (Licensed Behavior Analyst)
- One year's experience of Applied Behavior Analysis or teaching children with disabilities preferred.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours and meet with clients in-person.
