To find out more about our commitment to sustainability and about Amcor, visit .Job DescriptionAmcor is currently searching for individuals to join our Lebanon production plant!SHIFT AVAILABLE:2-2-3 12-hour Straight Nights, 7:00-7:00!Every other weekend off!STARTING PAY:$20.09/hour + Plus $1.25/hour night shift premium!BENEFITS:- Benefits Day 1: Medical, Dental, Vision!- Retirement: 401(k) match up to 8%- Referral Bonus: up to $2,000!- Training & Education: Tuition ReimbursementWHAT PRESS ASSISTANTS GET TO DO
  • Prepare inks, substrates, plates, cylinders, gears, etc. for scheduled job.
  • Assist Press Operator in monitoring the product to ensure quality.
  • Knowledge and ability to perform make-readies.
  • Participate in the operation of the press with the ability to operate if needed.
  • Order, Charge, and Return raw materials to each job as needed.
  • Complete necessary daily paperwork.
  • Complete 5S/housekeeping logs.
  • Follow and be held accountable for adherence to all of the company policies and procedures as they are outlined and defined.
  • Remove and identify all scrap except flying splices before master rolls get moved to WIP area
  • All other duties as assigned by Manufacturing Supervisor and/or Management

WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability read, understand, and follow customer specifications
  • Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Must have basic computer skills to complete tasks in operator software
  • Required to have visual acuity to perform visual inspection including the use of measurement devices and ability to identify and distinguish colors
