Hilton Head Hospital (HHH) is a 109-bed acute care hospital located at 25 Hospital Center Boulevard in Hilton Head Island, SC. Opened in 1974, HHH serves Hilton Head Island, Bluffton, Okatie and surrounding counties through its care team of over 600 colleagues and over 100 physicians. The hospital provides a continuum of services through its centers and programs, including a 24-hour emergency department, critical care, cardiac care ranging from minimally invasive to open heart surgery, obstetrics/gynecology, urology, a nationally accredited breast health center, spine care, gastroenterology, surgical services, cardiac and physical rehabilitation, and a 12-bed geriatric psychiatric inpatient unit. The role will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level. The role is responsible for supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated. The role is accountable to support CNO to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.ED TECH PART TIME ROTATING CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.Education:Must have South Carolina Registered Nurse license or multistate licensure from another Compact State within the prescribed guidelines of the South Carolina Nurse Practice Act.Experience:One year Emergency Department or Critical Care experience preferred.Other Qualifications:1. Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support card 2. Current American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support card within 3 months of hire 3. Pediatric Advanced Life Support obtained within 3 months of hire or start of orientation 4. Trauma Nurse Core Certification (TNCC) within 2 years of hire preferredResponsibilities:This position will support all the facilities in the market as needed. Must have prior experience with IV insertion, blood draws and placing 12 Lead ECG's.Qualifications:Education:Required: Graduate of an emergency medical technician program.
