Responsibilities:
  • Assist with Family Office (FO) & Ventures bank transactions, setups, and closings; including processing transfers and wire payments.
  • Reconcile credit card transactions monthly for Amex cards.
  • Review and process expense reimbursements in Expensify for Ventures entities.
  • Review and process invoice payments in Bill.com for Ventures entities.
  • Manage weekly FO payments, coordinating with FO team to pay approved expenses online or via check.
  • Record transactions for FO and all Ventures entities in Yardi, NetSuite, and QuickBooks as needed.
  • Review cash activity and bank reconciliations posted by external bookkeeper for FO & Ventures entities.
  • Prepare and record journal entries for FO and Ventures entities with supporting workpapers.
  • Prepare Semi-Monthly FO cash report for management review.
  • Assist with other ad-hoc FO requests.
  • Assist with tax journal entries and state and federal tax compliance for FO entities, including extension and return payments, and coordinating with tax accountants.
  • Prepare Inter-company payable/receivable reports for FO & Ventures entities.
  • Assist with internal and external consolidated reporting for Ventures entities.
  • Assist with quarterly corporate reporting requirements.
  • Assist with team projects to improve overall processes.
  • Assist with ad-hoc reporting.
RequirementsQualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required (Accounting major preferred)
  • 0 - 3 years of experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Sound understanding of accounting principles
  • Curious and highly driven
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Dynamic interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of management
  • Detail oriented & ability to problem solve
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
