As one of the top providers of functional assessments, with the highest clinical quality, the most attentive care and crucially the most well-supported, dedicated team, we are aligned in delivering our vision of providing the right care, first time, every time.As a Functional Assessor you will work autonomously to assess the cases of people who are applying for a Work Capability Assessment (WCA) as part of the DWPs Health Assessment and Advisory Services (HAAS). This will involve holding consultations and writing fair and accurate reports.Our roles offer you the chance for a change of direction from the standard healthcare professional role, whilst providing you the opportunity to maintain and develop your clinical registration, skills, and knowledge. We have great opportunities for development and progression within PFAS including Clinical Coaching, Training Roles, and Clinical Support Managers..As a Functional Assessor, you will play a crucial role in interviewing claimants to understand the challenges they face.Salary: £43,450.00Type: PermanentFull time: 37.5 hoursBy completing thorough assessments and examinations via telephone, video call, or face-to-face means you will assess how our claimant’s disability/condition/illness impacts their functional ability on daily activities in a respectful, non-biased and reassuring manner.With proven experience of working within a medical background you will;· Analyse information critically to create accurate and concise reports.· Interpret clinical information and evidence.· Maintain professional standards in written communication and adherence to code of conduct.· Provide positive experiences for claimants and colleagues, meeting quality and productivity targets.We would love to hear from you if you have:· A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a qualified healthcare professional (listed below)· An ability to demonstrate a broad clinical knowledge.· Previous experience in using computer software including Microsoft OfficeEssentials Qualifications (without these your application cannot be considered)Nurses:· Qualified Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD only)· Member of the Royal College of Nursing (RCN)Physios/OTs:· Qualified Chartered Physiotherapist or Qualified Occupational Therapist· Member of the UK Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC)· Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP) or College of OT’s (COT)What We Offer:· 21 Days AL (increasing to 25 from January 2025) plus 8 bank holidays.· Hybrid working with flexible patterns to champion healthy work/life balance.· Protected CPD time and allowance to upskill and continuously develop your knowledge base.· A collaborative and dynamic work environment· Great opportunities for development and progression within PFAS including Clinical Coaching, Training Roles and Clinical Support Managers.· Scottish Widows Pension· Westfield Health cash plan· EAPDo you want to have a great impact and make a difference?
