We actively listen to our partners needs and add value with our customised solutions, acting as a one-stop-shop for the pharmaceutical industry.You will be part of the Pharma EMEA Industry Market Management team and work closely together with our Sales and Pharma Services team across EMEA region.Your main responsibilities will be to define the strategy, manage key suppliers and product basket for the segment of Biopharma. You will play an important role in supporting our sales team and in providing guidance for the Pharma industry based on thorough and up to date market know how.Join our highly motivated Team and engage yourself in creating values for our Pharma customers and suppliers - and be part of our our Global Strategy to win.Role and Responsibilities (included but not limited to):
  • Define EMEA-wide Biopharma strategy and product portfolio
  • Build value adding key supplier relationships (incl. supplier selection, sourcing, and product management - price negotiation, GP margin optimisation, stock inventory management) for the segment
  • Market analysis to strategically identify and fill white spots
  • Bring and develop market know-how to drive strategies assigned to Biopharma applications, in line with global strategy
  • Identify market trends and opportunities in the Bio-pharmaceutical sector that hold business potential
  • Build Technical & Commercial support for sales and product managers (Product information, Newsletters, Training) - on new products, suppliers, and applications
  • Develop marketing and business positioning campaigns together with the marketing team and execute them
  • Define the themes, priorities and focus areas for exhibitions and participate in regional trade fair activities
  • Participate in joint visits with customers to uphold technical discussions and to provide support to sales

YOUR PROFILEYour profile:
  • University degree in Science (Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related disciplines)
  • Strong product and market knowledge of Pharmaceutical Industry, with focus on Biopharma field is essential
  • Multiple years experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry, Pharmaceutical technology, Production area, R&D or Chemical Distribution
  • Experience in Product Management or strong network and relationship building capability with suppliers will be valued
  • Solid presentation skills and fluency in English, both written and verbal
  • Sound computer skills in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP, CRM
  • Availability to travel internationally as required.
