- Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate Sport Club Graduate Assistant.
- Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate 6-10 Sport Club Supervisors.
- Conduct bi-weekly meetings with Sport Club Supervisors.
- Monitor club adherence to safety and risk management protocols and procedures.
- Oversee schedule of Sport Club Supervisors for daily practice and weekend competitions at all
- Collaborate with facility operations and field maintenance in scheduling practices and events
- Coordinate club officer meetings and committee selections.
- Assist with Sport Clubs organization travel; schedule transportation as needed, facilitate payments for registration fees and lodging, ensure all paperwork is properly completed, and monitor adherence to travel policies.
- Collaborate with various units on and off campus to assist with club needs and organization
- Recruit students for sport club supervisor and graduate assistant positions.
- Oversee the financial management for 19-22 clubs including budgeting, tracking all fund appropriations and expenses; managing funding allocation process; assisting clubs plan and develop fundraising activities throughout year.
- Manage student payroll.
- Manage $50,000 yearly budget.
- Manage all university Club Account payouts and deposits.
- Report on a bi-weekly basis (at staff meetings) all club competitions-both home and away.
- Report on a monthly basis all club travel inclusive of club name, destination, opposing competition, dates of travel, mileage covered.
- Create and maintain programs’ strategic plans and coordinate with the program’s assessment
- Collaborate with the Marketing program to create/produce flyers for advertising practices, try
- Serve as a liaison between clubs and University News Paper.
- Coordinate sponsorship
- Maintain marketing for social media, digital boards, all bulletin boards and sandwich boards for
- Update the website with program information
- Recruit students for club involvement & implementation of new clubs.
- Assist with purchasing, maintenance and inventory of sport specific equipment.
- Ensure compliance of staff with industry standard safety and risk management practices, facility inspections, and established Campus Recreation policies and procedures.
- Evaluate Sport Club Supervisors via verbal and written evaluations.
- Create assessments for Sport Club participants.
- Respond to comments and patron feedback.
- Maintain membership on a Student Affairs Program Committee.
- Attend scheduled professional staff meetings and Campus Recreation Advisory Board meetings.
- Attend NIRSA state, regional, national and specialized workshops.
- Present at professional conferences and workshops.
- Travel to other institutions to learn about and evaluate policies, procedures, challenges and success.
- In accordance with the Division of Student Engagement and Success/Department of Campus Recreation Strategic Plan, other duties as assigned.
- This position requires a flexible work schedule which at times will require frequent attendance during evenings, weekends and some holidays. Additional hours may be required during peak periods

- Bachelor’s degree required in Recreation, Physical Education or related field with one year professional experience in the management of Sport Club programs at the college or university level.
- Successful candidate will be required to work some evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Master’s degree in Recreation, Physical Education or related field with two years professional experience in the management of Sport Club programs at the college or university level.
- Minimum of three years working experience in the Sport Clubs field as well as supervision of personnel and participants, purchasing processes, and payroll management.
- Texas Driver’s License or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Current CPR, AED, First Aid and Blood Borne Pathogens certifications or ability to obtain within 90 days.
-Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.

- Skill in developing and implanting risk management protocols.
