- This civilian administrative position will be responsible for administrative duties, financial reporting, budgeting, purchasing, financial documentation, accounting, grant applications, and reporting in support of the section.
As the Administrative Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive administrative support to the program and its staff.
The Coordinator will be responsible for:
- Managing several grants, ensuring timely grant reporting, identifying and applying for grants that align with the program's scope, managing community steering committees, maintaining financial records, and completing reimbursement reports.
- Contributing to developing the annual budget, conducting research in specialty grant-related areas, compiling and reporting complex program data and statistics, and ensuring compliance with grant plans and requirements.
- Answering and directing phone calls, handling general inquiries for the section, and maintaining professionalism and composure in diverse community interactions, even in challenging situations.
- Drafting various correspondence, reports, letters, and memos, as well as proofreading and editing legal, standardized, and original documents.
- Scanning and filing documentation in digital archives and handling confidential and time-sensitive materials with discretion.
- Manage operation schedules, assist with notetaking during meetings, and support research, planning, and completion of special projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and a flexible schedule to meet deadlines and adapt to dynamic environments.
- Knowledge in accounting and finance, strong problem-solving abilities, effective management and administrative skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in office procedures, computer applications, and customer service techniques is required.
- Bachelor of Arts degree from an accredited college or university in finance, administration, communications, marketing, public relations, or mental health related studies, or a closely related field.
- Four years of high-level experience in an office environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have or obtain a Colorado Driver's License within 60 days of appointment and maintain throughout employment.
- Must know how to safely operate a motor vehicle.
