- Assist with Background and Credit Checks requests on prospective and existing franchisees.
- Prepare legal agreements for new franchises, territory reallocations, territory sales, transfers, terminations.
- Manage UCC filings.
- Create Franchise Agreement files, including both new agreements and renewals.
- Create franchisee information in HubSpot.
- Assist Manager and Director in identifying franchise compliance concerns with transitions to ensure alignment with legal requirements.
- Assist Manager and Director with contract review and legal research.
- Maintain a high level of understanding of the Security Agency & Officer (Agent) licensing requirements and process in each state or territory.
- Assist with Quick Reference Guides (QRG) for each state to assist new franchisees in understanding the licensing process in their respective state.
- Work with franchisees on a regular basis to ensure they are compliant with their state licensing regulations.
- Stay current on licensing changes in each state which may have implications on business practices and procedures.
- Ensure that all franchisee licenses are renewed prior to expiration and maintain a list of all franchisee licenses.
- Work closely with the Franchise Development group prior to the launch process to ensure that the franchisees have completed the licensing process correctly and have the correct paperwork to establish their business entity.
- Assist updating the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) and files, assist with changes, documents and coordinate with FDD attorney on an annual basis.
- Ensure all new Franchise candidates have been properly disclosed prior to signing.
- Assist Manager & Director with Insurance Captive Company legal records as needed.
- Conduct effective time management to ensure issues are identified and addressed in a proactive fashion, reports are delivered on time, and attendance is prompt.
- Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in relevant field.
- Exhibit professional behavior and promote positive working relationships.
- Commitment to learning and contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of a dynamic Compliance department.
- Paralegal or a strong background in contract review a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products and other relevant computer applications
- Ensure the organization adheres to all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Able to stay updated on all relevant laws to mitigate legal risks for the Company.

- Sound judgment with the ability to evaluate options and manage multiple projects or tasks.
- Must be able to pass a background check including Motor Vehicle Report
