As the Area Manager for Assam, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the sales and marketing operations for IPL Biologicals in the assigned territory. You will be responsible for managing a team of sales representatives, developing and implementing sales strategies, and building relationships with key stakeholders in the region. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan to achieve business objectives and sales targets for the assigned territory. Lead, manage, and motivate a team of sales representatives, providing guidance and support to ensure the team meets or exceeds sales targets. Identify and develop new business opportunities and partnerships to drive revenue growth in the region. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, key opinion leaders, and other stakeholders in the region. Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of marketing strategies and initiatives in the region. Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, market trends, and customer feedback to senior management. Qualifications Bachelor s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field. Master s degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and marketing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Knowledge of the pharmaceutical or biotech industry preferred.
