- Guide the strategic direction of social engagements across multiple platforms.
- Oversee the management of social media communities, including content development for daily posting, community moderation, crisis management, competitive analysis and on-going strategy.
- Provide creative and strategic content recommendations, including best practices, competitive insights and social media trends.
- Manage, measure and communicate trends impacting the company's brand and social media programs.
- Manage, create, and publish original high-quality content on all social media platforms.
- Identify target audiences for each platform and ensure the company's brand identity, voice, tone, and style are consistent with branding guidelines across all platforms.
- Collaborate with team creatives to develop and test new strategies and content opportunities.
- Provide creative content recommendations, including best practices, competitive insights and social media trends.
- Recommend social media advertising solutions.
- Invest in stories that bring the brand and the people that define its values to life.
- Provide recommendations for placing media across various audiences and sources.
- Generate reports tracking the performance for all social media campaigns and report back to leadership as well as advertising partners.
- Review social media sources and provide feedback on campaigns to increase social awareness and brand management.
- Elevate the organization's social media and content strategy to drive deeper engagement with customers and stakeholders for social brands and campaigns.
- Keep abreast of industry news, technologies, trends, and emerging technologies as appropriate.
- Support company events and collect content for social media, marketing, and other areas as needed.
- Support with photography and video as needed for events, organic social, and advertising efforts.
- Collaborate with the business to develop responses that align with our policies and overall mission for our public and private groups and audiences as needed.
- Oversee advocate scheduling and tracking.
- Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objectives.
- 4+ years' experience with a social media platform required such as Sprout Social or Hootsuite.
- Adobe Creative Cloud is required.
- Photography and video experience preferred.
- Transportation industry experience preferred.
- A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or a related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience is required.
- Must be able to gather data and draw logical conclusions from in-depth analysis of information.
- Must have an excellent understanding of web strategy.
- Must be able to prepare and deliver compelling arguments and presentations in a way that builds, impacts and influences others and successfully build coalitions for key initiatives.
- Must be able to create content and keep a daily posting schedule for assigned platforms and brands.
