- Organize and deliver services on a cross-section of complex Transportation projects.
- Contribute to the development of business and vendor relationships.
- Support pre-sales, RFPs, and proposals.
- Manage senior-level client relationships.
- Serve as a "Subject Matter Expert", adding experienced insights into client challenges.
- Manage solutions, delegate resources, and ensure the quality assurance principles are met across projects and deliverables.
- Lead and support delivery teams and staff.
- Actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities, providing input and guidance into the staffing process.
- Present and sell ideas to various client audiences, both technical and non-technical.
- Serve as a trusted client advisor on complex transit projects and/or programs.
- Provide advice, implementation guidance involving transportation infrastructure investments.
- Work closely with other members of the Transportation Modernization Offering as well as other Deloitte Consulting Offerings in leading dynamic multi-disciplinary teams that will provide the breadth of Deloitte services to transportation clients.
- Ensure that transit and rail engineering subject matter and technical deliverables, infrastructure projects and programs are developed with a level of quality that meets or exceeds common industry standards.
- Proficiency with the transportation project development cycle, including from planning to implementation.
- Work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team of consultants, planners and engineers to execute project deliverables such as technical reports and presentations, financial feasibility assessments, strategic communications, project/program management and system implementation services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with public and private sector clients, agencies, partner firms and sub-consultants, as well as other external stakeholders such as vendors and suppliers.
- Lead and/or support business development initiatives and proposal execution.
- Engage in staff development which includes mentoring, training, coaching and professional development.
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum 10 years of Transportation Industry experience.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Experience with federal transportation funding programs
- Experience with both local transit agencies and regional programming agencies (e.g., MPOs)
- Active involvement in transportation/transit related industry associations and organizations.
