Job Description:***NOTE: This is a Baltimore, MD remote position. The candidate will need to be in the Baltimore area for occasional runs to the office. CRS' relief and development work is accomplished through programs of emergency response, HIV, health, agriculture, education, microfinance and peacebuilding.Job SummaryProvide advanced administrative assistance to the Accounts Payable Function. Assist the Accounts Payable Manager and Manager of Financial Accounting Operations. This position focuses on advanced AP functions that are more technical than typical entry of invoices.Responsibilities:
  • Provide support in processing weekly AP payments, assist two AP Administrators as needed to keep up weekly invoice processing.
  • Assist with preparation and submission of monthly Wells Fargo expense allocations (both for travel and employee travel expenses).
  • Act as Wells Fargo Administrator working with card holders and the bank to keep the commercial credit card account working well and up to date.
  • Prepare FBDI files for program expenses for all items processed in Accounts Payable.
  • Address supplier questions related to invoices and payments.
  • Work with Supply Chain to update supplier banking and address records.
  • Address questions from CRS staff related to invoice coding, payments, and account balance reconciliations.
  • Coordinate updates and applications for state sales tax exemptions.
  • Other projects as assigned or requested.

Qualifications: (Requirements expected of an individual in order to fulfill the needs of the position such as education, training, years of experience, licenses, etc.)
  • College degree preferred in business or finance.
  • 2-4 years similar experience, preferably in a finance or international organization.
  • Excellent proven ability with MS Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access.
