- Consult with and provide guidance to employees and managers about workplace issues to effectively resolve issues that follow internal processes and are in alignment with AtriCure policies and values.
- Provides counsel on workplace conflict matters to ensure prompt and effective resolution.
- Plan and conduct investigations, in partnership with legal, gathering relevant information and including appropriate stakeholders to implement discipline and/or resolutions based on findings.
- Track, analyze and report on employee relations data/metrics to establish and drive proactive strategies and action plans to improve organizational effectiveness and address key areas of opportunity.
- Develop strong partnerships with HR COE’s, Legal, and Compliance to successfully identify solutions and make recommendations on employee relations matters.
- Demonstrate a commitment to customer service by ensuring timely and accurate responses to inquiries and requests from employees.
- May participate in project work to support business or other Human Resources initiatives.

- Bachelor's degree and five to seven years of Human Resources experience, or demonstrated combination of education, training and experience
- Knowledge of employment laws and best practices
- Knowledge of federal and state compliance requirements
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and organizational skills
- Demonstrated capability in managing employee relations, as well as promoting and maintaining positive employee relations
- Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment
- Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and organize and prioritize work
- Ability to travel two to three times per year
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification
- Experience working with HR-related systems
- Ability to regularly walk, sit, stand, bend, push, pull as needed
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
