- Lead cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to streamline processes and reduce inefficiencies.
- Oversee all aspects of supply chain management, including procurement, production planning, inventory management, warehousing, and distribution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Contract Manufacturers, Suppliers, Vendors, and Logistics partners to ensure reliable and cost-effective supply chain solutions.
- Develop and implement robust supply chain metrics and KPIs to measure performance and track progress against goals.
- Manage the logistics network to optimize transportation routes, minimize transit times, and reduce freight costs.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards governing supply chain and logistics operations.
- Provide strategic guidance and leadership to the supply chain team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Foster strong relationships and effective communication with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and finance.
- Serve as a liaison between internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure alignment on requirements and priorities.
- Proactively communicate supply chain issues, risks, and opportunities to senior management and drive collaborative solutions.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive global supply chain strategy, policies, procedures that aligns with the company's overall business objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Min 15+years of well-rounded experience in various supply chain functions, including contracted manufacturing, material management, planning, inventory, fulfillment and global logistics and trade compliance experience.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful supply chain strategies that drive operational excellence and cost savings.
- Strong understanding of supply chain best practices, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
- Experience in improving supply chain and supplier performance, including the use of cost models and objective based performance measures.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams across multiple locations and functions.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of global trade laws and regulations to include laws and regulations administered by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC), understanding of Export Control Classification Number (ECCN) categories, Export License conditions/processes and Dual Use Commodities
- Skilled at defining and executing a global trade compliance strategy within a large, multinational organization (preferably in the technology industry)
- Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate future challenges and opportunities and develop proactive solutions.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems.
