- Provide leadership, training, and guidance aimed at promoting student engagement, community relations, and client satisfaction.
- Provide timely information to students, clients, and associates on pertinent information
- Participate in campus and municipal community relations initiatives as defined by Aramark and the Client
- Accompany food service managers during student or customer meetings and provide structured feedback
- Provide leadership, training, and guidance aimed at promoting Aramark?s Do Well Be Well program.
- Develop and implement event logistics and planning strategies to ensure the success of all events hosted by Campus Enterprises in conjunction with Aramark.
- Act as the liaison with the University Events Office to coordinate and manage all logistical aspects of events, including venue selection, vendor contracts, transportation, and lodging arrangements for Campus Enterprises and Aramark.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their event goals and objectives and provide creative input to enhance the overall experience.
- Conduct site visits and attend pre-event meetings to ensure all logistical details are in place and executed effectively.
- Oversee event setup and breakdown, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available and set up according to the event plan.
- Anticipate and troubleshoot potential issues during events and provide quick and effective solutions.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to promote events and attract new clients.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving.
- Superior verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong managerial and diplomatic skills.
- The ability to work independently with a flexible schedule; being able to prioritize multiple projects and requirements to include customer visits, follow-up work, formal documentation of the accomplishments and internal support requests
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Hospitality/Recreation industry
- The ability to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time (8+ hours/day), the ability to lift 20 lbs. (with or without assistance), the ability to push, pull, bend, kneel, reach, stoop, and crouch as needed.
- Bachelor?s degree and/or High School degree with a minimum of Ten (10) years of experience directly related to the field of work.
- Extensive and diversified background in event planning/management, event execution services both tangible/intangible, and event logistics with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge and understanding of venue selection, attendee transportation, catering services, technology integration, and security measures.
