Position Title: Quality EngineerJob Location: Horicon, WI-53032Job Duration: 36 months contract1st shift. 6:30am-3:00pm. With some weekend OT as needed.Metatarsals requiredMay drive Gator vehicle (training will be provided)Your ResponsibilitiesAs a Quality Engineer you will investigate quality issues related to product and processes, gather, and analyze data to determine root cause, document in NCCA system, and implement corrective action.In addition, you will:
  • Investigate quality issues related to product and processes, gather and analyze data to determine root cause.
  • Provide work direction to inspectors and auditors on containment, quality procedures and tools to monitor critical processes.
  • Help to identify Continuous Improvement projects (CI)
  • Use quality tools and practices to establish approval criteria to ensure the identification of quality concerns.
  • Monitor and facilitate quality activities for part approval, verify manufacturing processes and confirm process capability.
  • Generate quality related reports for monitoring metrics.
What Skills You Need:
  • 2 or more years of experience in manufacturing engineering, quality engineering or supply management in a design/manufacturing environment
  • 2 or more years of experience using standard quality tools (Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA), Statistical Process Control (SPC), Root Cause Analysis, 8D, Statistics
  • 2 or more years of experience leading projects with minimal supervision to aggressively solve quality issues
  • 2 or more years of demonstrated communication, organizational, and facilitation skills
  • Must work well within a team environment
What Makes You Stand Out
  • Experience with Machining, Welding and/or Assembly Engineering (ME/QE)
  • Previous experience with Riding Lawn Equipment or Utility Vehicle production processes and organization
  • Knowledge of SAP-PAG
  • User knowledge of Pro-E, Creo, Creo-View or other solid modeling software
Education
  • Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering Field
