Our roster has an opening with your name on itThe Commercial Manager will work closely with the Sr. Commercial Manager to drive the sportsbook retail strategy and act as liaison with the different stakeholders to ensure that it gets properly implemented across the organization (e.g. finance, marketing, product, risk and trading, customer operations). At the same time, he/she will be responsible for understanding ways to transform the retail organization for the future.THE GAME PLAN

- Assess new investment ideas and build business cases to support the decision process
- Lead Transformation for the retail organization
- Be a change agent within the organization, driving both incremental process improvement and large transformational initiatives.
- Support the sportsbook team in managing the commercial relationship with third parties/suppliers
- Monitor the business performance, key drivers and trends, and report regularly to the leadership team
- Constantly review the entire P&L, particularly the cost base, and provide strategic recommendations to the retail leadership team to drive the business to a higher level of profitability.
- Input into the product roadmap assessing the commercial impact of new developments / features
What we're looking for in our next teammate
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial/strategy/analytics/customer intelligence is preferable
- Strong problem solver, ability to break complex problems into simpler, smaller ones
- Strategic Mind-set: takes a long-term view and anticipates future trends and implications
- Collaborates: is a team player - works with the team and stakeholders across the organization to get things done
- Commercial acumen: advanced understanding of business principles and understand the levers
- Experience in retail businesses and / or ecommerce
- Passionate about sport and/or gambling
- Understand the different components of a P&L and is familiar with the budgeting process
