- Clinical experience with assistive technology devices and services.
- Clinical experience coding for patient visits across multiple insurance payers.
- A minimum of five years of experience working with children and adults with disabilities.
- Specialty knowledge and skill related to computer access for individuals with disabilities.
- Specialty knowledge in funding opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
- Experience with ergonomics; computer access, smart-home technologies, and/or worksite accommodation.
- Prior experience in research and/or teaching.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with faculty and staff.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and operate within HIPAA guidelines.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Demonstrated knowledge of augmentative and alternative communication systems and devices.
- Ability to work efficiently and comply with required clinical appointment documentation deadlines.
- Ability to work independently with excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet productivity expectations.
- Ability to work well with diverse populations, commitment to diversity, experience working with cultures other than their own, experience interacting with communities of color.
