Job Description:The Service Advisor is responsible for scheduling service work in the service department and for selling additional needed service to customers. The Service Advisor is the dealership's first-line customer-relations and service representative.ResponsibilitiesOversee service orders and flow of Drive Lane. Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective serviceTake ownership of the customer's experience by carrying out those additional assignments that allow the dealership to leave a positive impression with the customerProvide concierge support for all owner inquiries, whether phone or in person, to assure the customer does not get mishandledEnsure the daily inventory of technicians' time is consistently sold to service customersDistribute work between technicians efficientlyAnswer technical questions about vehicle problems, warranties, services, and repairsMaintain Customer Success Index at or above company standardsAssist in diagnosing vehicle problems; order parts and tools as necessaryOversee administration of warranty claims as well as training and supervising of service departmentReinforces company policies and adheres to company standardsEncourages compliance with applicable laws and regulationsMaintain good working relationship with factory(s) and foster positive employee relationsQualificationsOrganized and friendly personalityDemonstrated ability to manage othersTime management skillsFantastic communication skills with your customersProfessional, well-groomed personal appearanceConsistent record of service and sales successStrong record of positive customer satisfaction resultsTeam oriented and self-motivatedAble to work with little supervisionClean driving record and valid driver’s licenseWe are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.We are the Paul Automotive Group.
