- Support the Center Director and staff in ensuring exceptional instructional services to students
- Teach in-person, online, and/or via hybrid delivery system, ConexED using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices which include individualized instruction in a group setting
- Become proficient with digital educational materials & processes
- Support staff in maintaining the organization & management of student’s digital assets
- Support the Center Director in administering student assessments and the development of student learning plans
- Assess student progress throughout instructional sessions
- Assist with sales responsibilities, such as making care-calls, following up with leads to schedule center visits, successfully enrolling families, and having an enrollment conversation with a walk-in customer when the Center Director is occupied
- Maintain a high level of confidence and program value through interactions with student guardians
- Mentor and support employee development by providing on-the-job training to instructional staff
- Assist with community events and special initiatives as directed
- Support the Center Director in managing the center floor during instructional hours
- Serve as the point person in case of the Center Director is unavailable
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Support the maintenance of a clean & professional learning environment·
- Utilize all available software, such as Constant Contact, to effectively manage marketing campaigns
- Promote a referral program to encourage parents/customers to refer their family and friends to Mathnasium ·
- A passion for math and working with students
- Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra II (Calculus is a bonus-can be a current calculus student)
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Willingness to learn and be trained
- Willingness to learn how to conduct and assist with sales
- Willingness to develop leadership abilities
- Ability to adapt to a versatile environment and handle multiple concurrent assignments
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in computer skills (Strong comprehension of Microsoft Office and Google Docs)
- Advanced communication skills including compassion, building connections, active listening, assessing customer needs, and providing solutions.
- Desire to work a minimum of 18 months or longer and/or throughout the school year
- Must have high school diploma or GED; some college preferred, can include volunteer and intern work
