- Must be in good physical condition as the position requires the ability to stand on one's feet throughout the day, as well as, push, pull, move and/or lift repetitively a minimum of 10 pounds up to greater than 50 pounds occasionally.
- Must be able to complete performance requirements independently while using good judgment as well as have the ability to harmoniously work with others

- Must be able to read, write and understand the English language
- Implements specific restorative programs using the nursing process and ensures proper delivery and documentation with all nursing staff.
- Work closely with licensed therapists to ensure that specific recommendations are followed through when discharged from formal therapy programs.
- Perform functional restorative assessments per HCF policy.
- Ensure that all restorative nursing measures are reflected in the plan of care.
- Participate in care plan conference and make recommendations and/or report on restorative nursing programs.
- Ability to utilize Electronic Documentation system and reports as well as ensuring proper utilization of Electronic Documentation system as it relates to restorative nursing programs.
- Work with Therapy and Staff Development to educate new employees and provide continuing education to all employees for techniques and practices of restorative nursing care and Electronic Documentation system.
- Periodically make rounds on all shifts to monitor the restorative programs.
- Communicate on a regular basis with Director of Nursing on the progress of the restorative program.
- Participate in all necessary meetings such as weekly Case Mix, QA process, and Nurse on-call program.
- Assumes responsibility for maintaining his/her professional competence.
- All other duties as assigned
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current license as a Registered Nurse with the State Board of Nursing.
- CPR certification recommended.
