POSITION SUMMARY: Performs intake assessments, diagnostic psychosocial evaluations, and develops treatment plans for consumers. Performs psychological tests and techniques, performs intellectual and psychological evaluations with all types of adults and children and develops behavioral support plans.QUALIFICATIONS: Ph. D. (Psy D.) in clinical or counseling psychology. Preference of two (2) years of psychological testing and behavioral therapy experience with DDID, SMI, SED and Special Needs consumers.SKILL SETS: Good computer skills, superior oral and written communication skills, articulate, trustworthy and decisive. Other skill sets include but are not limited to highly organized, good anticipatory planning, conflict resolution and analytical skills.PHYSICAL AND ENVIORMENTAL DEMANDS: Visual acuity necessary for updating files and completing documents. Requires frequent stooping, kneeling, and crouching to file records. Hearing and talking necessary to answer phone and talk with employees and other individuals. Work requires walking, standing, and sitting. Manual dexterity is required to perform computer functions.JOB SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS: * NAMI, CAKY (and other regional MR/DD Provider) Interface and Collaborative Community Efforts.
  • Readily available for PASRR consultation, evaluation and sign-off.
  • Rehabilitation Services - Regional Interface.
  • Develops and implements strategic plans for the improvement of functions in collaboration with the administrative and clinical leaders within the organization as well as with Collaborative Community Partners.
  • Interprets and disseminates information on regulatory matters to applicable staff and ensures proper implementation of customer and regulatory requirements. Reports their effect to the internal Quality System.
  • Analyzes facts or circumstances surrounding individual problems to determine what action should be taken within the limits of standard practices.
  • Facilitates implementation of process control systems to ensure quality and productivity standards are met.
  • Facilitates Medical Services and Program Managers Meetings as directed.
  • Maintains Public credentialing, group services, supervision, student/intern, core competency and training grids.
  • Participates in maintenance of the center's management and information system as it relates to quality/compliance and direct care/access.
  • Implements systems to monitor compliance with all regulatory agencies.
  • Implements measurement systems for determining the level of performance of service processes and outcomes.
  • Participates in studies related to the effectiveness and efficiency of clinical procedures (e.g. screenings, assessments, treatment planning, services, discharge, and referral) and direct care delivery.
  • Administers client satisfaction studies for all program areas.
  • Ensures that all programs are in compliance with all applicable federal and state licensure regulations and standards.
  • Participates in agency continuing quality improvement (CQI) activities.
  • Maintains Rehabilitation On-Call Rosters for QMHPs and MDs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
