Maintenance Assistant

- Conducting routine inspections of the premises to identify and address maintenance issues
- Performing basic repairs on plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC systems, and appliances
- Assisting in the upkeep of grounds, including landscaping and snow removal
- Responding promptly to maintenance requests from residents and staff
- Supporting facility renovations and construction projects as needed
- Maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment
- Adhering to safety guidelines and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in maintenance is a plus
- Proven experience in a similar maintenance role, preferably in a senior living or healthcare environment
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general carpentry
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
