- Collaborate closely with Product Experts and Process Engineers to conceptualize and design cutting-edge products.
- Work alongside the Sales and Marketing Departments to develop engaging sales media and graphics that resonate with our target audience.
- Craft clear, user-friendly installation and user guides to provide comprehensive support for our clients.
- Maintain precise and up-to-date bills of materials to streamline product development and manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with the Manufacturing Department to produce functional prototypes, showcasing innovative concepts.
- Evaluate existing product offerings to identify potential cost reduction and system enhancement avenues.
- Contribute to the development of efficient tooling and setup processes in partnership with the Manufacturing Department.
- Provide essential CAD and manufacturing engineering support to the Director of
- Operations for the implementation of new manufacturing technology initiatives, equipment layout, and successful start-up endeavors.
- Assume a leadership role as the project manager in all stages of new product development, guiding projects from initial concept to prototype development and eventual production.
- Lead or support the identification and integration of emerging manufacturing technologies aligned with our pursuit of enhanced efficiency and competitiveness.
- Collaborate closely with Manufacturing Management to drive continuous improvements, enhancing ongoing operations' overall effectiveness and efficiency.
- Proficiency in creating comprehensive, user-friendly instruction and procedure documents.
- Effective communication skills to facilitate seamless interactions with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Expertise in 3D parametric software such as Inventor, CREO, or SolidWorks, enabling you to bring innovative designs to fruition.
- Experience using AutoCAD as a design tool to generate impactful solutions.
- Strong familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, to support comprehensive documentation and data analysis.
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring precision and accuracy across all documentation and design aspects.
- Demonstrated ability to collaboratively work within a team environment, contributing positively to collective efforts.
- Capacity to align your work with sales and manufacturing priorities, consistently meeting deadlines and surpassing expectations.
- Solid understanding of the engineering design process, encompassing conceptual and physical design, procurement support, engineering testing, failure root-cause analysis, and product qualification.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar disciplines.
- Previous experience may be considered in lieu of bachelor's degree.
- Infor CSI (ERP) experience
- DFMA experience
- Critical Thinker with proven record of following systematic problem-solving techniques.
- Demonstrates innovative and creative problem solving and design skills.
No travel required on a regular basis.
