If so, we want to connect with you!Woodfords Family Services is currently taking applications for a School-based Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) in Scarborough, ME!This is a full-time (32-35 hours per week) position in the Scarborough School District that will begin September, 2024.Position SummarySchool-based BHPs work one-on-one with children and adolescents in a public school setting to help achieve learning and development goals. Individual needs are assessed and related to the learner's behaviors, social skills, personal and daily routines, and self-care.Through the use of evidence-based practices, BHPs help foster a therapeutic, enriched, and meaningful learning environment for students to learn and thrive with independence!Here's what we're looking for:
  • Full-time, 32-35 hours per week (hours will vary based on school calendar)
  • Monday through Friday - No Weekends!
  • $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
  • $1,500 Sign-on Bonus! - paid after successful completion of 6 months of employment
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's or bachelor's degree in psychology, social services, education, or related field preferred.
  • Experience (paid or volunteer) working with children; experience with the special needs population preferred.
  • Available to work Monday-Friday following a school-based, year-round calendar.
  • BHP certification (course can be completed as part of employment and paid for by Woodfords)
  • Valid driver's license with current auto insurance and use of a reliable vehicle
